Recognizing Our Staff Throughout National Hospital Week

If you’ve ever been a patient at UM Charles Regional Medical Center, you know how important our compassionate, experienced staff is to helping you heal from injury, recover from surgery or just feel better altogether. Even if you have never needed hospital care, you can rest easier knowing that our team of caring staff will be there if you ever do.

The peace of mind provided to our patients and our entire community is why we’re proud to recognize all the men and women of our fantastic staff during National Hospital Week. It’s our way of saying “thank you” to those who help make our hospital a premier healthcare provider in the region.

All week long, we’re celebrating the accomplishments and commitment of our staff with a series of events and activities. Our week-long celebration will culminate in our Employee Banquet and Recognition Night on Friday, May 13 at Middleton Hall in Waldorf. In addition to bringing our staff together for a night of showing our gratitude, the banquet will be highlighted by our annual Nurse of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Healthcare Hero and CNA/Tech of the Year award announcements.

From the specialists who perform difficult, cutting-edge procedures and the nurses working around the clock to the support staff who help keep our facilities clean and patients fed — we thank these dedicated individuals for their contributions to our hospital. And we invite you to help us recognize all their hard work.

So whether you’ve been a patient of UM Charles Regional Medical Center or not, simply use the #MyHospital hashtag on social media throughout the week to show your support or visit the official website of the American Hospital Association for more great ideas on how you can join us in showing appreciation this week.
